In the Fall 2019 semester, I made a website entitled “Capturing Seacobeck” as part of my Digital Studies 395: Applied Digital Studies course.
The goal of this project was the craft a narrative of the history of Seacobeck Hall, as well as to highlight the changing relationship between Mary Washington students and the hall over time. Using student newspaper articles, university handbooks, and other primary sources, I was able to make interesting information accessible to the UMW community about the hall.
